Torque Industries approached CPR Electrical to help with the installation and commissioning of a hay plant for Al Dahra in Perth’s north. This project showcases our ability to handle complex industrial installations efficiently and within tight deadlines.
Project Overview
The job included the installation of cable trays, motor cabling, control cabling, a 1200KVA generation set, and a Motor Control Centre (MCC). The motor sizes ranged from 0.75kw to 110kw, showing off our team’s diverse capabilities in managing various electrical components.
Scope of Work
- Installation of Cable Trays: Installed robust cable trays to support and protect the extensive cabling needed for the hay plant operations. This was crucial for the safety and organisation of the electrical infrastructure.
- Motor Cabling: Handled the installation of motor cabling, including 95mm EMC-screened motor cables. These cables reduce electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliable motor performance.
- Control Cabling: Installed control cabling to facilitate efficient communication between the various components of the hay plant. This included high-performance Cat6A cabling for optimal data transmission.
- 1200KVA Generation Set: The installation of a 1200KVA generation set was a key part of the project. This generator ensures a reliable power supply, essential for the continuous operation of the hay plant.
- Motor Control Centre (MCC): Installed and commissioned the MCC, which is responsible for the control and protection of the electric motors. The MCC setup included the connection of motors ranging from 0.75kw to 110kw, demonstrating our ability to handle a wide range of motor sizes.
- Ongoing Services: We continue to deliver ongoing electrical services directly to AlDahra in the form of routine maintenance, breakdown service, and installation of new electrical systems, ensuring their operations remain optimal and efficient.
